For Clinicians: Live Masterclass

An intensive, live clinical masterclass in the PRIME framework.

The PRIME Live Masterclass is a full-day, hands-on programme for clinicians who want to go beyond the online course. Delivered in small groups, it combines clinical teaching, live case discussion, and structured practice so you leave with a fully operational assessment framework.

Why This Exists

The online course teaches the framework. The Masterclass puts it in your hands.

Most clinicians who complete the PRIME online course want more. They want to apply the framework in supervised clinical settings, to work through complex cases with expert guidance, and to leave with the procedural confidence that only comes from live practice.

The PRIME Live Masterclass is designed specifically for that. It is a full-day intensive delivered in small groups, no more than twelve clinicians, so every participant receives meaningful engagement with the faculty.

Programme

A structured day built around clinical practice

Morning: Clinical framework and assessment

A structured walkthrough of the five PRIME elements in clinical context, with emphasis on assessment sequencing, differential recognition, and documentation. Participants work through structured observation exercises before progressing to live case review.

Afternoon: Case work and integration

Small-group case discussion using real clinical presentations. Participants apply the PRIME framework to complex and multifactorial cases under faculty supervision. The afternoon closes with structured reflection on how to integrate the framework into each clinician's existing practice setting.

Throughout the day

Direct access to Kate Roche and Dr Justin Roche. Q&A embedded throughout rather than confined to the end. Small group size means every question gets substantive airtime.

Faculty

Led by Kate Roche MSc, MCSP, IBCLC

Kate is a chartered physiotherapist and internationally board-certified lactation consultant with over a decade of specialist clinical experience in infant and paediatric feeding. She developed the PRIME framework from direct clinical practice, working with families and clinical teams across Ireland and the UK.

The Masterclass reflects Kate's teaching philosophy: that clinical competence in feeding assessment requires supervised practice, not just conceptual understanding. She teaches every Masterclass personally, supported by Dr Justin Roche where schedule allows.
