PRIME Deep Dive
The Introduction gave you a map. The Deep Dive gives you the territory.
Many parents work through the PRIME Introduction and find it transforms their understanding. The Deep Dive takes that foundation and goes further. It is designed for families who want the clinical detail, who want to understand the specific patterns within each PRIME element, know how to interpret specialist reports, and be confident advocates in clinical settings.
This is not a course for clinicians. It is a course for parents who are ready to think like one.
The Framework
Each of the five PRIME elements, examined in depth
P: Parent Regulation
Infant feeding does not happen in isolation. The Deep Dive examines how parental nervous system state directly influences feeding outcomes, and provides practical, evidence-based tools to regulate your own response during difficult feeds.
R: Readiness
Readiness encompasses developmental windows, positioning optimisation, and sensory processing. The Deep Dive explores each in detail so you can identify when readiness barriers are contributing to your baby's difficulties.
I: Isoalign
Oral mechanics (jaw, tongue, and lip function) are central to effective feeding. This module covers clinical assessment markers, what tongue and lip tie means in practice, and how to navigate the post-revision period.
M: Motor Patterning
Suck-swallow-breathe coordination underpins every feed. The Deep Dive explains the neurodevelopmental basis of motor patterning and which signs suggest this system is under strain.
E: Embody
Long-term feeding health depends on building sustainable patterns. This element covers transitioning to solid foods, responsive weaning, and how to support your child through feeding transitions with confidence.
